Feeling the Music
While many people will be tempted to crank the level and frequency up on the shaker, try finding the perfect balance of vibration and bass by adjusting both the level and frequency to an appropriate level.
Different Levels for Different Experiences
You'll probably find that you'll enjoy a lot of rumble during a heart pounding action movie but not so much during a relaxing orchestral masterpiece on your iPod. With your level adjustments right there at your fingertips, be sure to set the shaker and bass to the appropriate setting for each experience in your i-Fi Chair.
Setting Up Your Levels for the First Time
To set your levels up for the first time, follow these simple steps and you'll be on your way to amazing sound.
- Start by turning all levels and frequencies all the way down.
- Select the appropriate source, whether it's iPod, Auxiliary or Wireless.
- If selecting wireless, you may have to press the channel button in order to synchronize the channel for the
first time. - Turn Satellite to 12 o'clock.
- Set the Subwoofer Level around 9 o'clock.
- Set the Subwoofer Frequency around 3 o'clock.
- Turn the Shaker Level to around 9 o'clock or until you start to feel the rumble.
- Using subtle increments, increase or decrease the existing settings according to the movie/music you're
listening to.
Protecting Your Hearing
Although we have taken every precaution to reduce the chance of long term hearing loss from the use of the i-Fi Chair, it is ultimately the responsibility of the user to listen at reasonable levels. Prolonged use of the chair at its loudest levels may lead to permanent hearing damage. Use caution when increasing the level and frequency of both the subwoofer and satellite speakers.
A Little Means a Lot
While you may be tempted to crank the knobs from side to side to find the perfect level, small changes can really have a large impact on what you hear and feel. While tuning the sound to perfection, take small steps to increase the chances of acheiving the perfect audio levels.
